Jakarta, 6 November 2019. Participating in Indonesia Infrastructure Week (IIW),Konstruksi Indonesia (KI) and Intertraffic Indonesia is one of the ways Mowilex shows their support for sustainable industrial practices. These events are also supported by the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing, the National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas), and the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) to encourage actors in the manufacturing and infrastructure industries, to support the best sustainability concepts, which include production, product, and service processes, scientific research, government regulations, as well as to better prepare the construction industry’s supply chain components which consist of sources of funding, human resources, equipment and materials, and also construction technology.

Infrastructure Week (IIW), Konstruksi Indonesia (KI) and Intertraffic Indonesia were opened by President Joko Widodo, the Minister for Public Works and Public Housing, and the Head of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and were attended by 129,000 participants from state-owned enterprises (BUMN) and private companies. To support sustainable construction businesses, PT Mowilex Indonesia became one of the sponsors of Indonesia Infrastructure Week 2019. In his opening remarks, President Joko Widodo put out a challenge to all industrial actors in Indonesia, to be able to compete and catch up where Indonesia is still lagging in the infrastructure sector. This challenge was not only issued to the state-owned companies, but it is also expected that private companies will also support this. Mowilex welcomes the government’s invitation to also contribute in developing Indonesia’s infrastructure.

Jusri Sidik, as Sales Director of PT. As the first manufacturing company in Indonesia to be certified Carbon Neutral as well as the first domestic manufacturer of water-based, environmentally friendly paints, PT. Mowilex Indonesia’s participation in Infrastructure Week is aimed to introduce and give out the latest information on products from Mowilex.

Taking place at the Jakarta International EXPO (JIExpo), Kemayoran, Indonesia Infrastructure Week 2019 will be held on November 6-8 2019. Mowilex will be in Hall D-41 at JIExpo for the duration of the exhibition, and visitors can come and experience firsthand the different Mowilex paint textures that have been specifically painted on different surfaces, such as wood, metal, and natural stone.
