Mowilex Receives Zero Accident and Occupational Safety and Health Advisory Committee (P2K3) Awards for Consistently Implementing OSH Standard.

Banten, February 22, 2023 – Paint manufacturer PT Mowilex Indonesia (Mowilex) was awarded the Zero Accident Award and the Occupational Safety and Health Advisory Committee (P2K3) for consistently implementing a culture of Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSH) in the company properly so that workers are at a minimum risk of work accidents. Mowilex won an award in the Gold category for criteria of (P2K3).
Mowilex has appointed an Occupational Safety and Health Advisory Committee (P2K3) and implemented Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Standards in an inclusive and comprehensive manner both in the product environment (factory) and the head office. The company consistently carries out dissemination to all employees regarding the importance of safety at work which is often held online, via internal bulletins and internal announcements via email.

Some 404 companies from regencies/cities throughout Banten Province were among the nominees of Zero Accident and the Occupational Safety and Health Advisory Committee (P2K3) awards. There were 4 award criteria categories, namely Zero Accident, Occupational Safety and Health Advisory Committee (P2K3), HIV-AIDS Prevention and Control, and Covid-19 Prevention and Control.
Of the 404 nominees, 115 and 116 companies in Banten were granted with P2K3 and Zero Accident awards at the Banten Province level in 2023. The verification is carried out by visiting the company to check the results of this activity, namely reducing the number of work accidents and increasing OSH Standard.
Citing Antara, the Head of the Banten Manpower and Transmigration Department, Septo Kalnadi, said he hoped that companies would pay more attention to work in terms of creating an OSH atmosphere and culture in the workplace, with the ultimate goal of minimizing accidents.
