PT. Mowilex Indonesia has carried on with their CSR program which involves repainting facilities of care homes for children with multiple disabilities, and recently their latest endeavor takes them to Yayasan Bhakti Senang Hati, situated in Siangan village on the island of Bali. The persistence, tenacity, and determination of those with disabilities have inspired Mowilex, an  Indonesian brand founded almost 50 years ago, to continue to face challenges, keep on innovating, and tirelessly produce quality products.

Yayasan Bhakti Senang Hati, an organization dedicated to help those with disabilities, has cared for 80 persons with disabilities. Through the organization’s program to develop confidence, mobility, and financial independence, those under their care are provided with an education as well as skills. Those who learn to become independent enough go on to be tour guides or even become involved in the arts.

When asked at the event, Head of CSR Mowilex Suratman says, “After our initial visit to Yayasan Bhakti Senang Hati, we took notice to the fact that most of the building’s wall needed to be repainted.  This required a total of 500 liters of our products which Mowilex has provided.”

“Our employees also volunteered to take part in this repainting project. We are also happy to see our distributors as well as local university students volunteer their time to join us in this great cause,” he added. “We’ve worked with our distributors and with the students previously and we hope this cooperation can continue in the future in projects to come.”

Mowilex has previously done repainting projects in Jakarta and Malang earlier this year. After Bali, the Mowilex CSR program will continue in Yogyakarta and Semarang.
