PT Mowilex Indonesia have continued with their commitment to revitalize care homes for the disabled across Indonesia with Malang being the second city where the company has carried out their program. The Institute for the Development of Children with Disabilities (YPAC) Malang is a social organization that provides integrated rehabilitation services to children with disabilities and with special needs that required aid in restoring their facilities. Founded over 50 years ago and having given aid to those who are in need over the years, YPAC Malang have caught the attention of PT Mowilex Indonesia. Mowilex have undertaken the task to redecorate the facilities by carrying out a painting project for parts of the facility that need repainting.  

Hany Wicaksono, PT Mowilex Indonesia Surabaya Branch Manager, says that “Not only our colleagues in Jakarta, our employees at the Surabaya branch feel moved to continue the revitalization project for care homes for those with disabilities. We continue to support equality and diversity within our communities, especially those with disabilities, through this program created by PT Mowilex. We’re proud to have donated 660 liters of paint to repaint the facilities and we’ve also donated directly to YPAC Malang.” In addition, Hany continued, all employees from the Mowilex Surabaya branch as well as representatives from Mowilex distributors in the area took part in repainting the facilities.

Mowilex was also able to fulfill requests from YPAC Malang for specific colors. Suratman, Head of CSR at PT Mowilex Indonesia says, “Mowilex has helped to design the colors specifically requested by YPAC Malang.”

On the same occasion, YPAC Chairman, Ir. Endang Hariyani W.B., says, “Our facilities were in need of repainting, and we would like to thank PT Mowilex as the manufacturer of one of the best paints in Indonesia to spare their time to repaint our buildings.” 

It is hoped through this activity that the wider community can be more aware to care homes for people with multiple disabilities. Mowilex hopes that with this project, they can inspire communities to give aid to care homes for people with multiple disabilities across Indonesia.
