Learning Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and learning opportunities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive learning and development programs across various formats.
  • Manage the learning content creation process, including sourcing external vendors or developing in-house materials
  • Deliver training programs to employees at all levels
  • Facilitate workshops and coaching sessions
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote a culture of learning within the organization
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs and measure the impact on employee performance and business goals
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest learning and development trends and technologies
  • Manage the learning and development budget
  • Oversee the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • May supervise or collaborate with instructional designers, trainers, and other L&D professionals

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Education, or a related field
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in learning and development or a related field, fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Familiar with learning management systems (LMS)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders across the organization
